Kamabesu Villa is located in sunny Fish Bay on the south shore of the island. Sun rise varies between 6:15-6:40 AM year round and can be seen coming up behind Reef Bay’s mountains to the left of the porch view. The house is located on Arawack Road off of Marina Drive (a.k.a. Fish Bay Road).

DIRECTIONS FROM CRUZ BAY TO KAMABESU VILLA

Take the main road out of town and when you come to the Texaco keep to the right of the gas station going down the one way road. You will pass Inn at Tamarind Court, KatiLady Katering and after the Stop Sign you will pass the Market Place (grocery store). Continue straight on South Shore Road and pass Alfredo’s Garden, the basket ball courts and Pine Peace Market (small Bodega like store). Continue up hill (Jacob’s Ladder) and down past the Westin Resort. Go over speed bump and pass Great Cruz Bay Road and the dumpster. Follow over two more speed bumps and pass Chocolate Hole. Continue to top of steep switchback and turn right onto Marina Drive passing DEAD END sign. You will then pass signs to Rendezvous Point and Klein Bay Road. You will pass a sign called FISH BAY ESTATE and make the first left on the paved road: Arawack. We are the second house on the left. It is a yellow house with blue roof and has a sign: 12 Fish Bay KAMABESU VILLA at the end of the driveway.

NEAR BY ATTRACTIONS

HIKING/RUNNING & WALKING TRAILS to BEACHES
From Kamabesu

Ditleff Point: Rocky & sandy beach located about a 20 min walk from the house. Turn right out of driveway and right at bottom of hill onto Marina Drive. Continue out of Fish Bay and midway up hill come to sign saying DITLEFF POINT. Follow newly paved road onto Ditleff Point to small walking path about .3 miles up on the right side which leads down to water. Great for snorkeling and beach combing! If you want a stunning view continue straight to the top of Ditleff point instead of going to water. *NOTE Also a great running route in the mornings.

Klein Bay Beach: About a 1.8 mile walk or drive. This rocky beach is great for late afternoon swims. Follow directions to Ditleff Point but instead of going pass Ditleff sign continue up steep hill and make a left onto Klein Bay road. Follow road to Turtle Road and turn right to the water’s edge. Bring beach chairs to setup on rocks or just a towel after a quick swim.

Reef Bay Beach Trail: About a 2.25 mile walk or drive from Kamabesu along the main road. Leave the villa making a right and turn left onto Marina Drive. Continue on main road passing Guava Berry farms and turning left toward the water once you reach the mid-way height of the hill. Follow toward Half Moon house (large white crescent shaped home) and see walking trail to beach. Follow trail down to water. Often empty, this beach is very sandy but has great snorkeling. Good spot for private picnics. You can also drive here and park on the right side of road in front of the walking trail.
